Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs will face the Colorado Springs Sky Sox to start an eight-game
homestand on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before turning their attention to the reigning Triple-A champion Reno
Aces.
The Zephyrs snapped a three-game losing skid on Sunday in Albuquerque, capped by Chris Hatcher setting
the new franchise record for saves in a season by converting his 28th save of the year. Hatcher leads the
Pacific Coast League in that category, and ranks second in all of Minor League Baseball.
The pitching probables for the Colorado Springs series:
Tuesday 7 PM vs. Colorado Springs: LH Brad Hand (2-3, 3.19) vs. TBD
Wednesday 7 PM vs. Colorado Springs: LH Duane Below (5-5, 2.55) vs. RH Sean Gallagher (0-0, 2.57)
Thursday 7 PM vs. Colorado Springs: RH Jay Jackson (1-1, 6.57) vs. RH Cory Riordan (4-4, 7.24)
Friday 6 PM vs. Colorado Springs: LH Brian Flynn (4-10, 3.14) vs. RH Jeff Manship (6-8, 5.20)
The Z's ring in the month of August on Thursday with Ladies Night and Thirsty Thursday sponsored by
Budweiser, with $1 sodas and draft beers. Friday is Superhero Night, where fans can dress up and meet their
favorite superheroes, with postgame fireworks presented by Coca Cola. Wrestling legend Jerry "The King"
Lawler will be at the ballpark meeting fans and signing autographs during Saturday's tilt against Reno, and
fans can play Baseball Bingo for a chance to win prizes from Treasure Chest Casino.
Sunday is Princess Day with free admission for girls 12 years of age and under, and Prince Charming will
be on hand for pictures. It will also be Kids Day, giving all children the opportunity to run the bases on the
field after the game. The homestand concludes as it began with Triple Play Taco Tuesday on August 6th,
with an upper deck ticket, taco and soda available for only $10.
