
Sounds Announce Upcoming Promotions

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Sounds return to Greer Stadium on Tuesday, July 30, for their ninth homestand of the season. The stand is the last to feature eight games, beginning with a four-game series with the Las Vegas 51s (New York Mets affiliate) spanning July 30-August 2, and another with the Tucson Padres (San Diego Padres affiliate).
The homestand will be highlighted by two fireworks shows, two giveaway nights, Star Wars Night and the final BURGER KING Throwback Thursday and Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHTS.
Tuesday, July 30 vs. Las Vegas @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open at 6:05 p.m.)
The homestand opens with a Coke Zero Two-For-One Tuesday, where fans attending are encouraged to help Coca-Cola and the Nashville Sounds keep Tennessee beautiful through recycling. Fans can bring an empty Coke Zero bottle or can to the gates to receive special two-for-one ticket pricing.
Wednesday, July 31 vs. Las Vegas @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open at 6:05 p.m.)
On Wednesday, the Sounds will offer Great Clips #WebWednesday deals throughout the day. Fans can enjoy special discounts and ticket offers via the Sounds social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Also, the Sounds will celebrate Nashville's music scene with Sounds Music Industry Night. The seventh of nine dates this season is presented by NTS ProMedia and offers Sounds fans in the music industry special game tickets and pregame drink deals. Check out @SoundsMIN on Twitter for more.
Thursday, August 1 vs. Las Vegas @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open at 6:05 p.m.)
The Nashville Sounds will suit up in their retro blue uniforms for the final time this season on BURGER KING Throwback Thursday. The jerseys can be purchased during an in-game silent auction on the concourse at Greer Stadium.
The Sounds jersey auction nights are a part of the Sounds CARE (Community Awareness Responsibility Effort) Program, which was created by the Nashville Sounds Foundation and the Nashville Sounds Community Relations department in 2011 to highlight non-profit organizations during the season. Fans with winning bids will get the opportunity to meet their player on the field after the game to receive their jersey.
Greer Stadium is also throwing back the prices at the concessions for the night. Fans in attendance can purchase hot dogs, fountain drinks, beer, popcorn and nachos for just $2 apiece. In addition, fans can receive a $5 general admission ticket by presenting a BK receipt at the Advance Financial Box Office. College students may also receive the Throwback Thursday discounted ticket with a valid student ID.
Friday, August 2 vs. Las Vegas @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open at 5:35 p.m.)
Friday night marks the sixth and final Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHT and will feature a pregame concert from Grace Chapel. The concert will take place on the plaza stage near the first-base entrance approximately one hour before the first pitch.
As a part of FAITH NIGHT, the first 1,000 fans to the game will receive a Goliath Bobblehead. Bible character Goliath is part two of this season's Bible Bobblehead Series. Part one, in July, featured David.
The night will conclude with a Friday Fireworks Extravaganza.
Saturday, August 3 vs. Tucson @ 6:35 p.m. (Gates Open at 5:35 p.m.)
May the force be with you and every Sounds fan on Saturday for Star Wars Night at Greer Stadium. The team will be wearing special Star Wars-themed storm trooper jerseys that can be purchased during an in-game silent auction on the concourse with proceeds benefitting Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. Fans with winning bids will get the opportunity to meet their player on the field after the game to receive their jersey.
Saturday also marks the second giveaway night of the homestand, featuring a special R.A. Dickey Bobblehead presented by Nashville's NEWS 2. The collectible features the 2012 N.L. Cy Young Winner and 2007 Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year wearing a Sounds uniform and will be given to the first 2,000 fans through the gates.
The game will be followed by a special Star Wars-themed fireworks show courtesy of Nashville's NEWS 2.
Sunday, August 4 vs. Tucson @ 6:35 p.m. (Gates Open at 5:35 p.m.)
Sunday's game is another Piedmont Natural Gas Military Sunday presented by Tennessee 811. The Sounds will wear camouflage jerseys, while servicemen/women, veterans, and their families receive $5 off reserved or general admission tickets with a valid Military ID; limit 5 discounted tickets per ID.
Also taking place on Sunday will be the Sounds Faith and Family Sundays, where fans can receive $5 off tickets by presenting a church or community bulletin at the Sounds Advance Financial Box Office; limit eight discounted tickets per bulletin.
Monday, August 5 vs. Tucson @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open at 6:05 p.m.)
Monday is Dollar Dog Night, which allows fans to enjoy hot dogs for just $1 apiece.
Tuesday, August 6 vs. Tucson @ 7:05 p.m. (Gates Open at 6:05 p.m.)
The homestand will come to a rocking conclusion with Sounds Music Industry Night. The eighth of nine scheduled dates this season is presented by CMT. It will also be another Coke Zero Two-For-One Tuesday.
Following the homestand, the Sounds will head west to play a four-game series with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Rockies affiliate) from August 8-11 and another with the Reno Aces (Diamondbacks affiliate) from August 12-15 before returning to Nashville for a five-game series against the Round Rock Express (Rangers affiliate) beginning on Friday, August 16.
