Syracuse D Matt Corrente Assigned to Rampage

SAN ANTONIO (March 2, 2015) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Eric Joyce announced today that Ryan Martindale has been reassigned to the Syracuse Crunch (AHL). Additionally, the Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Matt Corrente to San Antonio.

Corrente, 26, has two goals, six assists in 101 penalty minutes in 48 games for Syracuse this season. A first-round draft pick (30th overall) of the New Jersey Devils in the 2006 NHL draft, Corrente has recorded six assists in 34 NHL games, all of which were played for the Devils. He has 17 goals and 51 assists in 283 AHL contests, having skated for the Lowell (2008-10) and Albany Devils (2011-13), Charlotte Checkers (2013-14) and the Crunch (2014-15).

The Rampage wrap up the 2015 Rodeo Road Trip with back-to-back games against the Charlotte Checkers on Wednesday and Thursday. San Antonio returns home for Military Appreciation Night, presented by Champion AC, on Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m. against the Iowa Wild.
