THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Wednesday, March 4 at Charlotte Checkers

Time Warner Cable Arena, 6:00 p.m.

The Rampage face the Charlotte Checkers for the sixth time this season in the first of two games played at Time Warner Cable Arena. The Checkers are the sixth and final opponent San Antonio faces on the Rodeo Road Trip in the 10th straight on the road for the Rampage. This game is the first of a 13- game month for San Antonio, and the first of six away from the AT&T Center in March. The Rampage are 4-1-0-0 against the Checkers this season with their only loss of the season series coming in Charlotte on Dec. 21.

Thursday, March 5 at Charlotte Checkers

Time Warner Cable Arena, 6:00 p.m.

San Antonio will play their final game of this year's Rodeo Road Trip against the Checkers, completing a journey that encompassed 11 games against six differ- ent opponents over a span of 24 days. This game will be the final of four played at Time Warner Cable Arena in this year's series against the Checkers.

Saturday, March 7 vs. Iowa Wild

AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

The Rampage return home from the Rodeo Road Trip to face another West Division team, the Iowa Wild, for the sixth time this season. San Antonio is 4-1-0 -0 against Iowa this year after going 1-1-1-3 in the 2013-14 season. This game is the first of six on home ice in the month of March and the final game played at the AT&T Center against the Wild in this year's season series, with the final two games being played on March 27-28 at Wells Fargo Arena.

Military Appreciation Night vs. Iowa Wild

Saturday, March 7

7:00 p.m. at AT&T Center

The Rampage will honor the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country with their 12th annual Military Appreciation Night, presented by Champi- on AC, Saturday against the Iowa Wild. San Antonio will skate in specialty military-themed jerseys to be auctioned off following the game with all proceeds benefitting Opera- tion Comfort and the Rampage Sled Hockey Team.

TRADE DEADLINE DAY: On Feb. 28, the Florida Panthers acquired forward Dany Heatley and a third-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft from Anaheim in ex- change for Tomas Fleischmann and assigned him to the Rampage later that day.

Heatley, 34, has appeared in 869 career NHL games, most recently playing for Ana- heim's AHL affiliate the Norfolk Admirals in 25 games, registering seven points. Heat- ley will wear the number 15 for the Rampage, and Brett Olson will now wear 12.

In recent transactions, the Panthers also reassigned forward Garrett Wilson to San Antonio on Feb. 28 after being called up on Feb. 23 for the first time this season.

Wilson appeared in two games for Florida, recording five shots. Today, San Antonio assigned Ryan Martindale to the Syracuse Crunch and was assigned Matt Corrente.

RODEO ROAD TRIP WRAP-UP: The Rampage play their final two games of 11 total of this year's Rodeo Road Trip Wednesday and Thursday against the Charlotte Checkers. Through nine games, the Silver and Black have posted a record of 4-4-1 splitting decisions in back-to-back games against Grand Rapids, Rockford, Chicago and Oklahoma City. Charlotte will be the final opponent of six total on the trip.

ICE CHIPS: Michael Houser - Rampage Goaltender

Michael Houser made two straight starts for the Rampage in net for just the second time this season on Feb. 22-27. Against Chicago on Feb. 22, Houser made 21 saves on 23 shots, stopping all five of the Wolves' power-play opportunities in the 5-2 victory. Houser again made 21-of-23 saves in a 4-2 win over the division leading Barons Friday, for his ninth win of the season. In his second season with San Antonio, Houser has made 595 total saves in 22 games played, includ- ing making a season-high 37 saves twice this year.
