Coyotes Assign Lessio to Portland

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Lucas Lessio to the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).
The 22-year-old Lessio has registered 2-3-5 and eight (PIM) in 26 games with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-1, 212-pound native of Maple, Ontario has also collected 10-8-18 and 16 PIM in 29 games with Portland.
Lessio was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (56th overall) in the 2011 Entry Draft.
