IceCaps Re-Assign Olkinuora to Ontario Reign

The St. John's IceCaps announced that goaltender Jussi Olkinuora has been returned on loan to the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.

Olkinuora, 24, has played four games with the IceCaps this season, going 2-1-0 with a 4.20 goals against average and a .856 save percentage.

In 27 games with Ontario this season, Olkinuora has gone 16-7-4 with a 2.53 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage.

For his career, the Helsinki, Finland native has played in 15 AHL games, all with St. John's, collecting seven wins. He was originally signed by the Winnipeg Jets to an entry-level contract on April 6, 2013.
