Canadiens Re-Assign Dalton Thrower to Brampton Beast

MONTREAL, QUE. - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have re-assigned defenceman Dalton Thrower to the ECHL's Brampton Beast from the Bulldogs.
In 22 games with Brampton this season, Thrower has recorded three assists and 65 penalty minutes.
Before turning pro this season, the 6-0, 215-pound defenceman spent five seasons (2009 to 2014) in the Western Hockey League. In 285 career WHL regular season games with the Vancouver Giants and Saskatoon Blades, the Squamish, B.C. native recorded 147 points (42 goals, 105 assists) and 414 penalty minutes.
The 21-year-old was selected by the Canadiens in the second round (51st overall) in the 2012 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Wednesday, March 4 when they'll host the Adirondack Flames at FirstOntario Centre at 7:30 p.m.
