Coyotes Acquire David Leggio from New York Islanders

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have acquired goaltender David Leggio from the New York Islanders in exchange for defenseman Mark Louis.

The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Buffalo, New York has posted a 7-13-0 record with a 3.93 goals against average (GAA) and a .861 save percentage (SV%) in 23 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL) this season.

Louis recorded 0-3-3 and 77 penalty minutes (PIM) in 34 games with the Portland Pirates (AHL) in 2014-15.
