Syracuse Crunch Announce Player Moves

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned forward Grant Mismash from the Syracuse Crunch to the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL, Crunch General Manager Stacy Roest announced today. Additionally, the Crunch have recalled goaltender Jack LaFontaine and loaned defenseman Tyson Feist to the Solar Bears.

Mismash, 23, has skated in five games with the Crunch this season. Last season, the 6-foot, 184-pound forward played in 57 games with the Milwaukee Admirals tallying six goals and six assists.

Mismash was acquired by the Tampa Bay Lightning in a trade with the Nashville Predators on July 5. He was selected by the Predators in the second round, 61st overall, at the 2017 NHL Draft.

LaFontaine, 24, has played in 11 games with the Solar Bears this season earning a 4-5-1 record with a 3.34 goals-against average and .905 save percentage. He appeared in 13 games with the Chicago Wolves last season recording a 4-3-4 record along with a 2.89 goals-against average and .885 save percentage. The 6-foot-2, 204-pound netminder also played in two NHL games with the Carolina Hurricanes going 0-1-0 and two contests with the Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL posting a 1-0-1 record.

LaFontaine was signed to an AHL contract by the Crunch on July 25. He was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the third round, 75th overall, at the 2016 NHL Draft.

Feist, 21, has appeared in five games with the Crunch this season. The 6-foot-3, 208-pound blueliner played in 65 games with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL last season recording 15 goals and 24 assists with a plus-25 rating.

Feist was signed to an AHL contract by the Crunch on June 10.
