Hagerstown Suns News Release

Charleston, WV- Wednesday night's Game Three between the visiting Hagerstown Suns and the West Virginia Power was postponed due to rainfall with one out in the bottom of the 2nd inning. The Power are leading the contest 7-1 as RHP Chris McKenzie gave up six earned runs in 1.1 innings, while walking four and giving up a 2-RBI home run to 1B Justin Howard.

RHP Jameson Taillon made his first professional start and gave up one earned run on three hits through 2.0 innings pitched. The game was billed as Taillon, the second overall draft pick from the 2010 First-Year Player Draft against Bryce Harper, the Suns' first overall selection in this past season's draft. Harper is the Hagerstown Suns phenom right fielder. In the only standoff featuring Taillon verses Harper, it was the Washington Nationals' top prospect, Harper, garnering a base-on-balls with one out in the 1st frame.

Thursday night's Game Three will pick up at 6:05pm with one out in the last of the 2nd inning and runners on second and third. The next game will begin about 30 minutes following the preceding matchup.
