OMAHA, Neb. - The Storm Chasers are in the thick of the playoff race, as they attempt to win a fourth straight division crown, but the final month at Werner Park will not only be memorable for the play on the field with the remaining promotions! Post-game concerts, jersey auctions and one cent wieners are just part of the FUN planned!
1 CENT WIENER WEDNESDAY - Wednesday, July 30 at 7:05 p.m & Wednesday, August 13 at 7:05 p.m. There are two ONE CENT Wiener Wednesdays remaining for the 2014 season, where fans can get full-sized Hebrew National Hot Dogs for just ONE CENT throughout the duration of the game! Limit 10 hot dogs per transaction. July 30 will also be Ag Night presented by the Nebraska Farm Bureau, where Werner Park will display the diversity of agriculture in Nebraska and how it is the state's number one economic driver.
AUTISM AWARENESS PUZZLE JERSEY AUCTION - Saturday, August 2 at 7:05 p.m. The Storm Chasers take the field in special uniforms on Autism Awareness Night, and the game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the game. Successful bidders will have an on-field autograph opportunity with the player whose jersey they won following the game. Proceeds benefit Autism Action Partnership.
NOCHE LATINA - Sunday, August 3 at 5:05 p.m. This Sunday Night game will celebrate the heritage of Storm Chasers players and fans in association with Radio Lobo! Special Latino-inspired food at the Downdraught Bar & Grill, a Mariachi Band throughout the game, players intros read in Spanish and headshots displaying their country of origin. Fans can receive $2 off Box Seat Tickets if they wear clothing displaying a Latin country flag or name, on a US Bank Family FUNday, Hardee's Kids Run The Bases and Hy-Vee Canned Food Sunday presented by 100.7 The Fish.
WERNER PARK CONCERT WEEKEND - August 15-17 The Storm Chasers will welcome Grammy award winning band Switchfoot on August 15 (6:35 p.m.) for the Werner Enterprises Concert in association with Q 98.5 FM. Faith & Family Night on August 16 (6:35 p.m.) features Christian pop duo For King & Country presented by Thrivent Financial and Vital Signs and in association with 100.7 The Fish. The weekend finishes with Joe Nichols at the Autism Action Partnership Community Concert on Sunday, August 17 at 8:00 p.m. (separate ticket from the Storm Chasers Game at 2:05 p.m.).
FAN APPRECIATION DAY/OUTDOORS NIGHT - Sunday, August 31 at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,500 fans will receive a free team photo, and Storm Chasers fans can receive promotional giveaway items as the 2014 regular season concludes throughout the game! The Storm Chasers will play in custom camo jerseys on Outdoors Nights, auctioned off during the game. Successful bidders will have an on-field autograph opportunity with the player whose jersey they won following the game. Proceeds benefit the National Wild Turkey Federation.
