Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Celebrate 9th Annual Pink in the Rink Tonight against Road Warrior

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays celebrate the 9th Annual Pink in the Rink presented by Trident Health benefiting Share Our Suzy tonight against the Greenville Road Warriors at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the 12 of 14 meetings between to the two in-state rivals this season.

Pink in the Rink:

The Stingrays are skating on pink ice and wearing special pink-themed jerseys for tonight's contest to support the fight against breast cancer. Pink in the Rink merchandise and autographed pink mystery pucks will be on sale on the concourse with proceeds benefiting Share our Suzy. Following the game, the on-ice jerseys will be auctioned off live for Share Our Suzy. In the eight-year history of the event, the Stingrays donated over $187,000 to fight breast cancer in the Lowcountry.

Series Breakdown:

The Stingrays are on a 10-game unbeaten streak (7-0-0-3) against the Road Warriors and hold a 7-1-0-3 overall head-to-head record. Forward Caleb Herbert leads the Stingrays and the series with nine points (six goals, three assists). All-time, the Stingrays are 36-24-14 against the Road Warriors.

Winning Streak:

The Stingrays are currently on a season-high eight-game winning streak and have outscored their opponents 38-11.

Scoring Touch:

Stingrays forwards Andrew Rowe and Derek DeBlois each enter tonight's matchup on four-game point streaks. Rowe has three goals and five assists for eight points during the stretch while DeBlois adds one goal and six assists for seven points.
