Americans Maintain Mastery over Missouri

Allen Americans News Release
Independence, Missouri - The Allen Americans rallied to tie the game in the third period again, and won the game in overtime, beating the Missouri Mavericks 4-3 on Friday night.
Gary Steffes had a natural hat trick for Allen his 34th, 35th and 36th of the season to lead the Americans to victory. Jamie Schaafsma scored his 11th of the season in the third to open the scoring. It was the Americans 8th straight victory over Missouri this season.
Allen returns home on Sunday afternoon to play the Tulsa Oilers at 4:05 pm in our 6th Annual Faith & Family Night. The night will include a special pre & post game meet-n-greet with Americans forward & FCA National Director of Campus Ministries Gary Steffes. We will also have $2 Hot Dogs, Popcorn & Soda available at select AEC concession stands.
