Columbus Tuesday, February 25, 2003 7:00 North Charleston Coliseum This is the eighth meeting of the season between these two teams. The Stingrays have a record of 7-0 against the Cottonmouths this season. Columbus is 0-3-4 against the Rays. The Stingrays are unbeaten 6-0-1 in their last seven games. Columbus has not won in five games 0-4-1.

This is the eighth meeting of the season between these two teams. The Stingrays have a record of 2-4-1 against the Inferno this season. Columbia is 5-2 against the Rays. Columbia has won five straight and nine out of its last ten games to take a five-point lead in the division.

This is the ninth game of the season between these two teams. The Stingrays have a record of 6-2 against the Grrrowl this season. The Rays topped the Grrrowl 4-1 last Friday in Greenville.

This is the fifth game of the season between the two teams. The Rays are 3-1 against the Lynx this season. Augusta jumped in to sixth place in the Southeast this week.
Augusta: Record (20-32-4, 6th Southeast) Last Game: 1-0 win vs. Greensboro-2/23
Last Week in Review: The Stingrays remained unbeaten in their last seven games with a home win on Tuesday against Pee Dee, a road victory on Friday against Greenville and a home shoot out loss to Charlotte on Saturday. The team began the week with a 3-1 victory over the Pee Dee Pride, which moved the team into third place in the Division. On Friday, the Rays knocked off the Grrrowl 4-1 at the Bilo center for their sixth win of the year against the Grrrowl. The team closed out the week in with an exciting 4-3 shoot out loss at the hands of the Charlotte Checkers.
Team Notes:
The Stingrays tied their season long winning streak at six, before losing to the Checkers in a shoot out on Saturday. The Stingrays have won seven out of their last ten games to jump the Pride and move into third place in the Southeast. The Rays have a record of 27-13-2 against the Southeast Division this year. At home the team has an overall record of 15-10-2. The Stingrays power play is now ranked third in the league at 22.3% and the penalty kill is 12th in the league at 82.3%.
Players:
Several Stingrays have point streaks on the go. Dave Seitz and Marty Clapton have each scored points in their last seven games, while Adam Calder has a six game points streak. Seitz is now in the top ten in the ECHL in scoring with 68 points on 17 goals and 51 assists. Kirk Daubenspeck is two wins away from tying Sean Gauthier's franchise mark of 31 wins in a season. Daubenspeck leads the league with 29 wins.
