Stingrays Add Watson

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that forward Cam Watson has signed with the team. In keeping with club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Watson, 24, skated in the Stingrays' preseason game against the Greenville Road Warriors on October 12, 2010 scoring no points. Last season, the Cambridge, ON native completed his senior campaign at Western Michigan University. While with the Broncos, Watson netted 21 goals and 20 assists for 41 points in 123 games.

The Stingrays kick off a three-game road trip tonight, Friday, November 12 as they battle the Elmira Jackals at 7:35 p.m. at First Arena. The Greenville Road Warriors visit the Stingrays for the first time in team history on Tuesday, November 16 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
