Wranglers Double-Up on Salmon Kings, 4-2

Las Vegas, NV- After three meetings this season, the Las Vegas Wranglers(r) took a 2-1 series lead against the Victoria Salmon Kings. The Wranglers dealt the Salmon Kings their third straight loss and earn their first winning streak of the season. Goaltender Michael Ouzas tallied his fourth win of the season, turning away 31 of Victoria's 33 shots. Colin Long netted two goals for Las Vegas in the win while captain Tyler Mosienko and forward Ned Lukacevic both tallied two assists. Victoria netminder David Shantz made 22 saves in his fourth loss of the season while Milan Gajic tallied two assists.

The first period was all Wranglers as they were able to find the back of the net three times. Blair Riley started the scoring with the fastest goal of the season for Las Vegas at the :21 mark of the first with an assist going to Tyler Mosienko. Mosienko assisted on the second Wranglers goal at 10:42 when Colin Long scored on the power play. Vince Bellissimo put the Wranglers up by three with another power play goal at 17:02 with assists going to Ned Lukacevic and Kevin Schaeffer. After one period the Wranglers were up 3-0.

The second period saw a Salmon Kings goal at the 11:42 mark as Kiel McLeod's one time slap shot beat Ouzas with an assist from Milan Gajic. After two periods of play the score was 3-1.

Victoria cut the deficit to one goal at the 8:00 mark of the third period as Derek Couture found the back of the net assisted by Milan Gajic and Kiel McLeod. The Wranglers were able to go back up by two goals when Colin Long scored at 12:02 assisted by Ned Lukacevic and Vince Bellissimo.

The Wranglers host the Salmon Kings for the next two nights, November 12th and 13th. The puck drops at 7:05PM.

The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
