Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Two of the hottest teams in the ECHL will square off tonight, as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Gwinnett Gladiators. Tonight is the first of just two regular season encounters between the teams, with both games to occur at Wings Stadium. Lifetime, the K-Wings are 4-0-1-0 against the Gladiators.
Kalamazoo returns to Vanrick Drive to commence a three-game home stand. On the season, the K-Wings are 3-0-0-0 at Wings Stadium, outscoring their opposition 11-8. The K-Wings start the night in second place in the North Division, two points behind division leader, the Wheeling Nailers.
With 16 points, no team has earned more points in the league than the Gladiators. Gwinnett heads into Wings Stadium to start a five-game road swing. The Gladiators lead the South Division by two points over the Florida Everblades.
