Stockton's Gimblett Fined, Suspended

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Friday announced that Stockton's Jesse Gimblett has been fined an undisclosed amount and suspended for four games for his actions in ECHL Game #93, Stockton at Idaho, on Nov. 10.

Gimblett is fined and suspended as a result of an illegal check to the head of an opposing player.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Gimblett will miss Stockton's games at Idaho on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13 vs. Idaho on Nov. 18 and Nov. 20.
