BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst on the passing of longtime Lebanon Daily News sportswriter Dan Sernoffsky:
"The Hershey Bears are saddened today by the news that Dan has passed. His contributions and coverage of our team have told the story of our fabled franchise, and we are forever grateful for his writing and his friendship. His passion for the game of hockey and the Hershey Bears were surpassed by no one, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Jan and the Sernoffsky family."
