
Buying Heat Tickets Just Got Easier

Abbotsford, BC - February 23, 2011 - Global Spectrum facility managers of the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre along with the Abbotsford Heat and the City of Abbotsford are excited to announce the launch of a new service for Abbotsford.
On February 23, 2011 at 12 noon, both the Abbotsford Recreation Centre (ARC) and Matsqui Recreation Centre (MRC) will host the grand opening of two remote Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre Ticket Outlets. Tickets for shows, events and Abbotsford Heat hockey will be available for purchase at the front desk at both locations.
"We are extremely excited to have the new AESC Box Office ticket outlets at MRC and ARC," said Mayor George W. Peary. "The west and east side residents of Abbotsford will now have a greater access to entertainment and hockey tickets right in their own neighborhoods'."
Both the AESC and the Abbotsford Heat will launch the outlet with hourly giveaways between 12pm and 5pm on Wednesday February 23rd. *no purchase required for entry, see outlet for details.
"With addition of the two new permanent outlets at MRC and ARC as well as our seasonal mall outlets, it's more convenient than ever for people to get their hands on Heat and event tickets,"said Justin McIntyre Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service for Abbotsford Heat Hockey Ltd.
The Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre features Toby Keith with George Canyon (Feb 27th), Professional Bull Riding (Mar 25th & 26th) and Cirque du Soleil's - Dralion (Jun 2nd - 5th) while the Abbotsford Heat have upcoming matches with affiliates of the Boston Bruins (Feb 25th & 26th), Pittsburgh Penguins (Mar 11th & 12th), Montreal Canadiens (Mar 18th & 19th, Apr 4th & 5th) and the Detroit Red Wings (Apr 1st & 2nd).

Outlet hours for both locations are Tuesday to Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday and Sundays 12:00pm - 4:00pm
