DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the Des Moines-based team has recalled center D'Arcy McConvey from the club's ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.

The 5-10, 190-pound McConvey is currently in second place in ECHL scoring and on the Steelheads' roster with 36 points. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native departs Idaho with 16 goals and 20 assists in 23 games, 23(16/20/36), including one goal and three assists in Idaho's 6-5 loss to Utah last night.

He made his AHL debut on November 18th and ultimately skated in three games for the Stars, recording four penalty minutes during his previous recall.

Last season with the Columbia Inferno (ECHL), McConvey posted 23 goals and 31 assists in 60 games: 60(23/31/54).
