Kondratiev heads to Wolf Pack

New York, December 28, 2005 -- New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that defenseman Maxim Kondratiev has been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kondratiev, 22, has appeared in 28 games with the Rangers this season, registering one goal and two assists, along with 20 penalty minutes. The native of Togliatti, Russia notched his first career NHL goal, a power play tally, on December 1 against Pittsburgh and currently ranks fourth on the team with 28 hits.

The Rangers will return to action tonight against the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum. Game time is 7:00 PM.
