St. John's Makes Roster Moves

The St. John's Maple Leafs announced today that center Brett Engelhardt of the Gwinnett Gladiators, ECHL, has been signed to an AHL contract. Engelhardt, a native of Sheboygan, WI, has 23 points including 14 goals in 21 games this season with the Gladiators.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound rookie ranked fourth in scoring with Michigan Tech. during his senior season last year posting 25 points in 38 games. He ranked first in scoring with 32 points during his sophomore season (2001-02) at Michigan Tech. scoring 16 goals and 16 assists.

The St. John's Maple Leafs take on the Rochester Americans tonight. Game time is 9:05pm (NT) and will be broadcast live on Radio NL (930AM) and www.sjmapleleafs.ca.
