Today's Game: The San Antonio Rampage continue a three-game road trip tonight against the Cleveland Barons as they continue a seven-game in nine-night series before the Christmas break... The Rampage, who play a 16-game month in December, sit in 5th place in the West Division with a 10-10-2-4 record (26 pts.) just one point ahead of Cleveland in the Western Conference standings... The Rampage, who have a three-game road win streak, are 5-5-1-2 on the road this season and are 3-0-0-1 in their last three road games... December is one of two 16-game months (January is the other) for the Rampage, marking the highest monthly totals... Following tonight's game, the Rampage will travel to Chicago tomorrow to cap their road trip before hosting the Norfolk Admirals in a matinee game.

Against Cleveland Barons: The Rampage visit the Barons at Gund Arena for the first time this season... San Antonio is 7-2-1-0 overall against the San Jose Sharks affiliate, including last year's record of 2-2-0-0... The last time the Rampage played at Gund Arena, the team defeated the Barons 1-0 in overtime with Travis Scott stopping all 55 shots (one shot short of the team's all-time record)... Cleveland holds the record for most goals against (in a period) the Rampage with six—it came on Oct. 26, 2003 in the 3rd period.

Miscellaneous Notes:

THREE-N-THREE: The Rampage will enter their second round of three-games in thee-nights with tonight's game against Cleveland. San Antonio is scheduled to play six sets in which they will play three games in consecutive nights for the season and are 1-0-0-2 so far.

WEISS ON A RAMPAGE: Center Stephen Weiss just missed Ryan Jardine's scoring streak (team record) of nine games after going scoreless on Dec. 15 at Milwaukee. Weiss' streak went six games and compiled 3-4-7 totals from Nov. 28-Dec. 10 (missed one game due to injury) ... Jardine amassed 5-8-13 totals from Mar. 20-Apr.6, 2003, marking the team's record.

I'LL 2nd THAT: As of today, the Rampage have the least amount of goals allowed in the second period with 14 after 26 games.

NAIL BITERS: The Rampage are 6-3-2-4 in one-goal games after Wednesday night's 3-2 win at Milwaukee. The Rampage scored the first goal of the game in one OTL (Oct. 24 vs Grand Rapids) and two SOLs (Nov. 23 @ UTA and Dec. 5 vs CHI).

THE WEST WING: Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Admirals was the 20th contest that the Rampage played against a West Division opponent. The Rampage, who are currently 9-7-2-2 against their division rivals, are slated to play 56 contests against their division foes this season. In addition, San Antonio will face two Atlantic Division opponents (HFD, WOR) totaling four games, one East Division opponent (NOR) for four games and five North Division opponents (EDM, MTB, CLE, ROC, SYR) totaling 16 games. The Rampage, were 21-32-7-0 in 60 games against West Division opponents last season.

TOP PROSPECT: Hockey'sFuture.com has Nathan Horton ranked sixth in their top-50 prospects. Horton ranks as one of two North American born players in the top six (along with goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury who is fifth), and one of two centers (Evgeni Malkin, fourth). Of the top six, only three are playing the AHL with Kari Lehtonen (ranked second overall) in Chicago, Fleury in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Horton in San Antonio.

TARGET PRACTICE: The Rampage have been out-shot in 17 of their 26 games (65.4%) this season (707-808). In those 17 games, the Rampage have given up at least 30 shots 12 times (four of those are above 40); most coming from the 3rd period (195-282).

OFFENSIVE DEFENSMAN: Rampage's defenseman Lukas Krajicek has been the only scoring component that has recorded a point in all but two of the team's wins this season. Krajicek has recorded 1-8-9 totals in the club's ten wins. Left wing Gregory Campbell (2-5-7) and center Greg Jacina (5-3-8) have logged a point in six of the ten games. Defenseman Jay Bouwmeester (3-3-6) trails with four games in which he recorded a point and the team has won.
