
Sound Tigers Release D Jay Leach

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have released Defenseman Jay Leach from a professional tryout contract. Leach joined the Sound Tigers from the ECHL's Trenton Titans Saturday and appeared in two games.
The Sound Tigers will host the Portland Pirates tonight at 7:05 p.m. They will visit the Hartford Wolf Pack Friday at 7:05 p.m. and return home to Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard to host the Norfolk Admirals Saturday at 7:05 p.m. All three games will be web cast live at www.soundtigers.com. The two weekend contests will also be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM.
Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
