Corazzini reassigned to Providence

The Providence Bruins announced today that right wing Carl Corazzini has been reassigned to the team by the Boston Bruins. He was recalled on January 14 and played in 12 games with Boston, scoring his first two NHL goals on January 20 against the New York Rangers.

Corazzini, a 24-year-old native of Framingham, Massachusetts, is tied for fifth on the P-Bruins with 12-6-18 totals in 36 games, and is tied for the team lead with a +8 rating. Corazzini also leads the AHL with four shorthanded goals. The 5'10", 182-pound Corazzini was originally signed by Boston as a free agent out of Boston University on August 8, 2001.

The Providence Bruins host two games this weekend, beginning on Friday, February 20 at 7:05 p.m., when they face off with the Manchester Monarchs. They also host the Worcester IceCats on Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
