Snappers Add Pair of Pitchers

With the Snappers placing three players on the DL Wednesday night; Pedro Guerra and Martire Garcia will take two of the three spots on the short handed roster.

Garcia who is coming from Elizabethton is a 2007 free agent by the Minnesota Twins. In 2010 the lefty has gone 6-0 with an ERA of 1.75 in eight games all of which he has started. In 45 plus inning pitched he has struck out 63 batters and has only given up 15 walks.

Guerra also a free agent signed by the Twins has appeared in eight games, seven of which he has started. In 38 inning Guerra has pitched he has given up no homeruns and has struck out 27 hitters while holding batters to an average of .200.

The Snappers take on the Bees Thursday night at Pohlman Field with game time scheduled for 7:00PM with gates opening at 6:00PM.
