Kernels Playoff Tickets on Sale Saturday

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Kernels are back in the playoffs for the fourth straight year! As the first half MWL West Champions, the Kernels will have home field in the first round and host their first game on Thursday, September 9 at 6:35 pm at Perfect Game Field, against the second half wild card team.
First round playoff tickets will go on sale Saturday, August 7th at 10 am in the Kernels Ticket Office and on-line at www.kernels.com . Playoff ticket prices are the same as during the 2010 regular season: $10 for Premier seats; $9 for Club seats; $8 for Plaza seats; and $7 for lawn seats. Kernels fans should remember that 10-Game Anytime Coupon Books, rainout tickets and unused season tickets may not be used towards playoff tickets.
The Kernels continue a four game road trip tonight in Kane County at 6:30 pm. John Rodgers brings you the action on the radio home of Kernels baseball, 1450 KMRY AM. Fans may listen on-line at www.kmryradio.com, or www.kernels.com . The Kernels return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday, August 7th.
