Saturday, May 13: The first of our fifteen fireworks shows starts tomorrow night following our game versus Kane County. Tomorrow night's fireworks are brought to you by Econo Lodge. Before we shoot off the fireworks we have two exciting new promotions for you. First, we have the Wolter Pool Co. 3 Strikes game. Each fireworks night one lucky fan will have the opportunity to win a hot tub courtesy of Wolter Pools. Fans need to register at Wolter Pools, located at 3180 Prairie Avenue in Beloit. Each lucky fan will reach into a bag and attempt to pull out the four numbers in the price of the hot tub before pulling out the three strikes. If a fan is able to put the numbers in the correct order, they win a hot tub from Wolter Pools. Following the Wolter Pools 3 Strikes game we will play Finnegans' RV Hillbilly Horseshoes. Each fireworks night, two contestants compete with each winner being invited back on August 18th for a chance to win the Ultimate Sports Weekend. The Ultimate winner and a guest will win a trip to see the Texas Rangers face the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, August 19. Then watch the NASCAR race at Michigan International Speedway Sunday, August 20. This great trip is courtesy of Finnegans' RV, ESPN Radio 1380 AM and the Snappers.
Thursday, May 25: In honor of the Snappers 25th Season, all tickets are 25 cents! Fans can get an $8 box seat for only a quarter. Tickets are going fast, be sure to get yours before they are gone. Visit the concession stands for another great deal, purchase a hot dog, soda or popcorn and get the second item for only 25 cents. The first 100 fans, 21 and over, receive a 25th Season pint glass, courtesy of our friends at Hooters.
Saturday, May 27: Applebee's Kids Club Members can enjoy an exclusive breakfast with the Snappers players and coaches at 9:00 am at Applebee's in Beloit. It's not too late to RSVP for the breakfast. Kids can still sign up for the Applebee's Kids Club. For $12 members receive: an official Applebee's Kids Club T-Shirt, 50% off general admission tickets to 2006 regular season home games, free ticket, hot dog and soda for Applebee's Kids Club Night Wednesday, August 16, exclusive invitation to breakfast with Snapper players at Applebee's, a free Oreo Shake each week of the season with the purchase of a kids meal and a 2006 Snappers baseball card set. Thursday, June 1: The Miller "On Deck" area will turn into a Caribbean Cruise for our first deck party fundraiser of the season. For $30, enjoy a Caribbean cuisine of: Tropical Fresh Fruit Salad (Watermelon, Honeydew Melon, Cantaloupe, Grapes, Strawberries, Mangoes, Kiwi and Papaya), Fresh Vegetables with Dip, Deep Fried Plantain Chips with Hot Peanut Sauce, Sliced Pork with Teriyaki B.B.Q. Glaze, Grilled Breast of Chicken served with Kaiser Rolls with Lettuce, Tomatoes, Caribbean Red Beans Rice and Roasted Garlic Red Skin Potatoes, as well as drinks from 6:00pm until 10:00pm thanks to Kandu Industries and Best Events Catering. Tickets are still available.
Friday, June 2: The Grand Opening of the Miller "On Deck" Happy Hour. From 4:00pm until 8:00pm on non-game Fridays it's Double Bubble (buy one, get one free drinks). From 8:00pm until midnight, all Fridays, $2 draft beer (12oz). Mixed drinks and shots will also be available. Enjoy music and complimentary peanuts all night long.
