Burlington Bees News Release
Burlington, IA (May 12, 2006) - Tonight's game between the Burlington Bees and the Swing of the Quad Cities scheduled for 7:00 at Community Field has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a double-header tomorrow night at Community Field with the first game starting at 5:00. The gates will open at 4:00 for a Long John Silver's/A&W Family Night featuring $14 family admission and a bicycle giveaway to a young fan 12 or younger sponsored by Louisa Communications and JD Byrider. Both games will be broadcast live on KBUR AM 1490 and KBKB AM 1360 with the pre-game show starting at 4:40. RH Chris Nicoll (2-2, 2.14) will start for the Bees in game one and RH Matt Kniginyzky (2-2, 3.56) will start game two.
