(WORCESTER, MA) -- The Charlotte Knights announced two roster moves ahead of Thursday's game three matchup against the Worcester Red Sox at Polar Park.
1B Gavin Sheets was recalled by the Chicago White Sox today. In nine games with the Knights this season, Sheets hit .270 (10-for-37) with six runs scored, four doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs. Sheets began the season with the White Sox and is hitting .204 (28-for-137) with nine runs scored, five doubles, four home runs and 10 RBIs in 44 games. Last season with the Knights, Sheets hit .295 (67-for-227) with 36 runs scored, 15 doubles, 11 home runs and 46 RBIs in 60 games.
OF Logan Glass was promoted to the Charlotte Knights today. A native of Oklahoma City, OK, Glass is hitting .137 (14-for-102) with nine runs scored, one home run, three RBIs and six stolen bases this season with Kannapolis (A). Glass, 21, was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 22nd round of the 2019 First-Year Player Draft. He appeared in 45 games last season with the ACL White Sox and hit .159 (23-for-145) with three home runs and 15 RBIs.
