Fresno Grizzlies News Release
Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies (45-43) fell to the Tacoma Rainiers (42-46) by an 8-1 final Friday evening, evening the holiday weekend series at a game apiece. The clubs will play a scheduled, single-admission doubleheader on Saturday, bringing their respective calendars to the PCL all-star break.
Ryan Court drilled a three-run homer in the second inning to set the Tacoma tone. John Andreoli legged out a RBI triple in the third to make the score 4-0. Fresno native and Fresno State Baseball alum Chris Mariscal rounded out the vistiors' scoring for the evening with a RBI double in the seventh; Mariscal also walked and scored on an Ian Miller RBI single in the sixth, during the second game of his homecoming.
