WELCOME BACK JUSTIN:RHP Justin Masterson returns to Portland, making a MLB Rehab Assignment in the series opener against the Bowie Baysox (Orioles affiliate)...Masterson pitched with Portland back in 2007-08 and is currently on Boston's 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis...Portland is on the second leg of their homestand, dropping two of three to the Richmond Flying Squirrels...The Sea Dogs will travel to Bowie next for their only trip to Prince George's Stadium.
4-3 AGAIN: Portland dropped 2 of 3 to the Richmond Flying Squirrels with all three games finishing 4-3...On Thursday morning, the 'Dogs rallied for three runs in the eighth inning but fell short...Danny Bethea had a season-high 3 hits, knocking in a run with a double...Carlos Asuaje added a two-run single...Mike Augliera (2-9) allowed 11 hits and 4 runs over 5.2 IP, suffering the loss...Portland's bullpen combo of Robby Scott and Pat Light worked 3.1 scoreless...Richmond received RBIs from Devin Harris, Kelby Tomlinson, Mac Williamson and Eliezer Zambrano
