The Thunder took advantage of three Harrisburg errors in the bottom of the fifth inning and scored four times on their way to a 4-3 victory over the Senators in front of 6,248 fans at ARM & HAMMER Park on Friday night.

With one out, Danny Oh reached on an error by Shawn Pleffner and advanced to second on a throwing error by Pleffner. After a walk by Cito Culver, Francisco Arcia and Jake Cave drove in runs with singles. A single by MLB rehabber Brendan Ryan loaded the bases for Ali Castillo. Castillo reached on a fielder's choice, however, Tony Renda committed the third error of the inning allowing Arcia and Cave to score and take a 4-1 lead for the Thunder.

Harrisburg inched closer with a run-scoring ground out off the bat of Drew Vettleson and an RBI single from Matt Skole in the top of the eighth. However, Eric Ruth struck out Pleffner and then retired the side in order in the ninth to finish the Thunder's sixth straight win.
