
Matt Cain Set to Rehab in Richmond Tuesday

RVA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, are pleased to announce that Giants starting pitcher Matt Cain will make a rehabilitation start for the Squirrels at The Diamond on Tuesday, June 9th against the Portland Sea Dogs. Cain, a three-time All-Star and World Series Champion, will become the second MLB rehab in Squirrels franchise history, joining RHP Ryan Vogelsong who made two starts for Richmond in 2013. Cain is making his way back from an elbow injury and has not appeared in an MLB game since June 9th 2014. This will be his first rehab start on the road to recovery. Cain has won 95 games in his Major League career, all with San Francisco. Tickets are available by clicking here

The Flying Squirrels return to RVA from a three-city, 10 day road trip on June 9th,, and kick off the Summer of Funn with the following promotional schedule:
