FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: The Portland Sea Dogs and Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies) continue their four-game series on Friday night at FirstEnergy Stadium...Reading officially clinched the season-series over Portland with a victory in the series opener...Following this four-game set, the 'Dogs host Trenton for four games in three days starting Monday night...RHP Denyi Reyes and LHP David Parkinson face-off for the second time in seven days.
FIGHTINS TOUGH IN THE OPENER: Deiner Lopez knocked in Portland's lone run with a two-out RBI double in the fifth, as the Fightin Phils took the series opener, 6-1 on Thursday night...Despite the loss, LHP Dedgar Jimenez (2-4) tossed six strong innings with a season-high seven strikeouts...He allowed both runs on a two-run homer by Alec Bohm in the fourth...Reading put the game away with four runs off RHP Kevin Lenik in the eighth.
