Tonight, the Erie SeaWolves go for a season-high fifth straight win in game two of a four-game series against the Harrisburg Senators at UPMC Park. Last night, Erie climbed out of an early hole to earn a 3-2 victory as Kody Eaves drove in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning. The bullpen fired four scoreless innings as Nolan Blackwood notched his third win and Drew Carlton earned his seventh save in as many tries. Spenser Watkins toes the rubber for Erie tonight and is coming off of a quality start in his last outing against Akron on June 23. The right-hander took a no-decision despite pitching a season-high seven innings and allowing one run on four hits while striking out a season-high seven. Wil Crowe goes for Harrisburg and leads the Senators staff with six wins. In his last start on June 23 versus Bowie, the right-hander earned a win by going six innings and giving up four runs on six hits. In 24 innings in the month of June, Crowe has logged a 5.63 ERA (24 IP / 15 ER). The 24-year old was a second round selection by Washington in 2017 out of the University of South Carolina.
