NEWS AND NOTES
GOOD TIMES IN BINGO: The Portland Sea Dogs and Binghamton Rumble Ponies (Mets affiliate) continue their five-game series on Wednesday night at NYEG Stadium...Portland has won all three games in the past two days, and have won eight of nine from the Ponies in New York this season...Tomorrow night is the final road game of the season, as RHP Konner Wade (5-4, 2.95) makes his final start of the season.
TWO FOR TUESDAY: Joey Curletta homered and knocked in three runs in the opener, and Portland pitchers hurled a one-hitter in the nightcap, as the 'Dogs swept a doubleheader, 5-3 and 1-0...Daniel McGrath improved to 7-1 in the first game, working 6.1 innings on three runs (two earned) and seven strikeouts...Brett Netzer's RBI single in the second game scored Curletta...Eduardo Bazardo worked two innings to earn his fourth win of the season.
