Portland Sea Dogs News Release
Binghamton, NY - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies (29-42, 64-71) scored six times in the sixth inning and beat the Portland Sea Dogs (32-35, 59-75), 7-2 on Wednesday night at NYSEG Stadium. Portland still has the series lead, three games to one.
RHP Mickey Jannis (W, 6-5) hurled a complete game on two runs, four hits, and ten strikeouts to earn the win. LHP Matthew Kent (L, 5-7) took the loss, giving up four runs on nine hits over 5.1 innings.

Portland grabbed an early 2-0 lead in the third inning against Jannis. Tommy Joseph delivered a two-run single to plate Nick Lovullo and Jarren Duran (1-for-4).
Kent stranded the bases loaded in the fourth inning but allowed a run in the fifth on a run-scoring single from Quinn Brodey.
In the sixth inning, the Ponies scored six runs off Kent and RHP Anyelo Gomez. Jacob Zanon drew a bases-loaded walk to tie the game, and Cody Bohanek walked for the go-ahead run. Brodey added a two-run single and Patrick Mazieka nailed an RBI double.
Adam Lau worked 2.1 hitless innings for the Sea Dogs in relief.
