Peoria Rivermen News Release

SCP Worldwide announced today that it has hired Josh Morin as the new Chief Operating Officer of the Peoria Rivermen.

As Chief Operating Officer, Morin will oversee all aspects of Peoria's off-ice operations.

Beginning his career in professional sports with the Rivermen in 2000, Morin served as the team's director of group sales and also added director of ticket sales to his duties in 2001. In 2003 he joined the Sacramento River Cats baseball team as a corporate partnership manager.

Morin moved on to become the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters in April of 2007, and subsequently managed the team's corporate sales department to rank 6th out of the AHL's 29 teams in total corporate revenue.

"We are excited to have Josh rejoin the team where he began his professional career," said Scottrade Center Executive Vice President and General Manager Marty Brooks. "His demonstrated leadership and proven sales success will be a tremendous asset to the Rivermen organization."

"It's always been a dream of mine to lead a team like this, and with the new ownership group coming in the timing is perfect," said Morin. "I've always had a desire to come back to Peoria - I really enjoyed my time there before and being so familiar with the market is a big plus for this position. It was thanks to Bruce Saurs, Anne Griffith, and Bart Rogers I got my start in this industry. And after meeting with SCP in New York City and discussing their vision for the club, I know the franchise is headed in the right direction and look forward to the opportunity to lead the Rivermen in the team's next chapter."

A graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism, Morin will begin his duties the week of August 11.
