
Sawada Called Up To Dallas

Cedar Park, TX - The Dallas Stars announced Wednesday that the club has recalled right wing Raymond Sawada from the Texas Stars, Dallas' primary minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Sawada, 24, has dressed in four games for the Stars this season, recording two shots and a +1 rating. The Richmond, British Columbia native has skated in 35 games for the Texas Stars this season, collecting two goals and six assists. Sawada scored 76 points (31g, 45a) over 137 games during four years at Cornell University. He was Dallas' second round selection (52nd overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
The Texas Stars return to Cedar Park Center for back-to-back games against Peoria on Friday, February 5th at 7:30 PM and on Saturday, February 6th, at 7:00 PM. On Friday, the first 3,000 fans receive a Texas Stars T-Shirt. On Friday, Cedar Park Center will sell $2.00 domestic drafts and $1.00 hot dogs. During Saturday's game, the first 3,000 fans will receive Texas Stars pennant. Fans may purchase the State Farm Family four-pack (four tickets, four sodas and four hot dogs for $44). All games can be heard on the Stars flagship station ESPNAustin 104.9 FM "The Horn" or ESPNAustin 1530-AM.
