LOUISVILLE, KY - Cristian Santana lifted a walkoff RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning to send the Louisville Bats to a 7-6 come-from-behind win over the Iowa Cubs Thursday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

Trailing 5-3 in the bottom of the ninth, Allen Cordoba raced home with the bases loaded on a wild pitch and just beat the throw at the plate to pull the Bats within one run. Lorenzo Cedrola then ripped a grounder deep in the hole at short to bring the tying run home and force extra innings.

After the I-Cubs scored their automatic runner in the top of the 10th, Albert Almora sparked the Bats' rally with a leadoff double that plated Ronnie Dawson from second and tied the game 6-6.

Following a strikeout, Santana unloaded on a 2-2 offering that nearly cleared the fence and gave Almora plenty of time to come plateward for the winning run that sent Louisville to its walkoff victory.

Michael De Leon also homered in the contest for the Bats. Cordoba plated a run as well with an RBI single in the fourth inning.

Iowa rapped out 11 hits, including 10 consecutive singles through the first four innings.

Phillip Diehl earned the win for the Bats with an unearned run in the 10th inning.

The Bats and Cubs continue their six-game series Friday at 7:05 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field. RHP Ben Lively (0-2, 5.54) takes the hill for Louisville against RHP Matt Swarmer (1-0, 0.00).
