The SeaWolves snapped a seven-game losing streak to Richmond as three pitchers combined to fire a one-hit shutout in a 2-0 win over the Squirrels.

The SeaWolves jumped ahead in the bottom of the second inning against Richmond starter Kyle Crick. Steven Moya led off with a single to right and moved to second on a Marcus Lemon two-out walk. Dixon Machado put Erie ahead with a single to left.

Steven Moya helped give Erie insurance in the eighth when he blasted a one-out, solo home run to right. The homer was his 26th of the season and it ties him with Eric Munson (2001) for fifth all-time.

SeaWolves starter Warwick Saupold (7-8) was stellar in earning his fourth win since returning off the disabled list. He tossed six shutout frames allowing one hit with five walks and two strikeouts.

Ryan Robowski tossed a pair of perfect innings in relief of Saupold with two strikeouts and Jose Valdez earned his 15th save tossing a scoreless ninth.

Squirrels pitcher Kyle Crick (6-5) got the loss, giving up a run on five hits, four walks, and tying a career-best 11 strikeouts in six innings.
