
Fightin Phils Mega Blast 2 Set for August 16th

The skies above FirstEnergy Stadium will once again be lit up in historical fashion when the club presents "Mega Blast 2: The Largest Fireworks Show in Stadium History", sponsored by Carpenter Technology Corporation and Savage61, on Saturday, August 16th. Mega Blast 2 will take place following the 5:05 p.m. doubleheader between the Fightins and the Binghamton Mets.
In addition to Mega Blast 2, the game also features a concert from the National Penn Bank Fightin Phils Mascot Band between the games of the doubleheader. The Fightin Phils Dance Team will also be performing at the game.
The Baseballtown gray road uniforms will be auctioned and raffled on the night. Over the past two seasons, the jerseys have been worn by Phillies players and prospects such as Kenny Giles, Cesar Hernandez, Mario Hollands, Maikel Franco, and Aaron Altherr.
Tompkins VIST Bank Gates for the game open at 4:00 p.m. with the seating bowl opening to the public at 4:30 p.m.
There are only 13 Fightin Phils home games remaining in the 2014 season.
