SAN DIEGO â The San Diego Gulls look to snap the Idaho Steelheads' seven-game winning streak and to start a winning streak of their own when the two West Division rivals collide tonight at the Sports Arena.
SERIES HISTORY: The Gulls and Steelheads have met three times so far this season with the Gulls holding a 2-1 series edge. The two teams will clash four more times in the regular season. San Diego was 8-1-1 against Idaho last season, including a 5-0-0 mark at home.

LAST HEAD-TO-HEAD MEETING (DEC. 5 VS. IDH): The Gulls trailed 2-0 and it looked as if the Steelheads were cruising to victory, before Darren Clark gave San Diego life and cut the lead in half three minutes into the final stanza. That's how it stayed until Max Birbraer scored the equalizer with 2:10 left in the game. Sean O'Connor scored what proved to be the game-winner with 34 seconds left and Chris Lynch sealed the game with an empty-netter. All told, the Gulls scored three goals in 1:56.
