San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO ------ Defenseman Jesse Graham landed the game winner 64 seconds into the third period to lift the San Antonio Rampage (32-26-10-0) over the Texas Stars (34-23-7-3) 2-1 in front of 10,116 fans during the club's 10th annual Pucks & Paws night on Saturday at the AT&T Center. Goaltender Andrew Hammond turned away 31 of the Stars' 32 shots to pick up his first win in a Rampage sweater.

San Antonio opened the scoring for the fifth consecutive game late in the first period when Brendan Ranford found a cutting Andrew Agozzino, who fired a one timer past netminder Landon Bow at the 18:39 mark for his 19th goal of the season.

After more than 21 minutes of scoreless hockey, Graham extended the Silver and Black's lead with an unassisted goal early in the final frame when the defenseman fired the puck from the point and past a screened Bow. Brent Regner cut San Antonio's lead to one after receiving a pass from Brian Flynn and sending a wrister over the left shoulder of Hammond at the 9:05 mark. Texas' rally fell short as the Rampage held off the Stars' extra attacker for the final 50 seconds of regulation to secure a 2-1 victory.
