Game Recap

The Toronto Marlies will look to build off of a 4-2 victory in Belleville last night when they meet the Senators for the second time in under 24 hours.

It's the eleventh game of the season series between the two sides and the Marlies enter having won eight of the first ten games and the previous three contests.

The Marlies (46-17-1-1) hold the top spot in the North Division while the Senators (24-37-2-3) come in sitting in seventh place.

Adam Brooks has found the scoring touch of late, racking up six points (2G, 4A) in his last five games.

Chris Mueller, who had a helper in last night's game, leads the Marlies in points against Belleville this season with two goals and seven assists.

The Marlies penalty kill has had strong success against the Senators this season, converting on 25% of chances in the ten games played so far, while killing off 93.9% of shorthanded situations. The Marlies have also converted on ten power play chances in their past ten games as the man advantage is heating up down the stretch.
