Royals Notes:
v The Royals went 3-1-0 in the four games played this past week. Reading's record is now 30-13-6=66, which places the Royals in first place in the North Division of the American Conference and translates into a .673 win percentage-which is the fifth best win percentage in the league.
v With the 2-1 loss in Trenton last Wednesday, the Royals' season high winless streak was extended to five games (0 - 2 - 3). That streak was snapped in the 5-4 overtime win in Dayton on Friday night. The Royals are currently riding a three game win streak.
v Three of the four games played by the Royals this week were decided by one goal, and Reading went 2-1-0 in those games.
- Eight of the last eleven games for Reading have been decided by one goal, and the Royals have compiled a record of 3 - 1 - 4 in those games.
- Over the course of the season, the Royals' record in one goal games is 12 - 6 - 6.
v In three of the four games played this week, Reading scored the games first goal-and won all three of those games.
- Over the course of the season, the Royals have compiled a record of 20 - 1 - 5 when scoring the game's first goal.
v The Royals played one game this week that ended regulation time in a tie-the 5-4 overtime win Dayton.

v Dany Roussin scored the overtime game winner against the Dayton Bombers last Friday night with just 22 seconds remaining in OT, marking Roussin's first pro overtime game winner.

v Doug Christiansen picked up two goals in the Royals' 5-4 overtime win in Dayton on Friday, marking his fifth multi-goal (and his thirteenth multi-point) game of the season for Reading.
- Christiansen's first goal on Friday night came 21 seconds into the game, marking the fastest goal scored this season on the road for the Royals. (Christiansen also scored a goal 18 seconds into the Royals' 7-4 win over Dayton on November 11, 2005 at the Sovereign Center.)
- In 7 games against the Dayton Bombers this year, Christiansen has scored seven goals.
- Christiansen also scored a goal in the Royals' 5-1 win over Trenton on Sunday, giving him a team leading twenty-four goals on the season.
- In his last twenty-four games with the Royals, Christiansen has picked up 34 points (17g - 17a = 34pts).
v Malcolm MacMillan scored two goals in the Royals' 5-4 overtime against Dayton last Friday, marking his first multi-goal (and fourth multi-point) performance for the Royals this season.
- MacMillan also scored the lone goal of the game in Reading's 1-0 win over Dayton on Saturday, marking his first game winning goal of the season, which makes him the sixteenth different player to score a gwg with Reading this year.
- Over the course of the season, MacMillan has scored seven goals for the Royals and six of those goals have come in his last thirteen games.
v Eric Werner scored a goal and assisted on two others in the Royals' 5-1 win over the Trenton Titans on Sunday. For Werner that marked his first goal in his last nineteen games for the Royals. It was also his first three point performance of the season for Reading.
v Grant Jacobsen scored a goal and added an assist in Sunday's 5-1 win over Trenton, marking his second two point performance in his last three games for Reading and his eighth multi-point performance of the year.
v Dustin Sproat scored his first goal as a professional in the 5-1 win over Trenton.
v T.J. Kemp scored the lone goal for the Royals in the 2-1 loss in Trenton last Wednesday. Kemp's 32 points (10g - 22a = 32pts) places him tied for ninth in scoring amongst defensemen in the league.
v Goaltender Cody Rudkowsky played all four games for the Royals this week, going 3-1-0 with a 1.71 goals against average, a .945 save percentage, and one shutout during the week.
- Rudkowsky made all thirty-eight stops he was called upon to make in picking up his second shutout of the season (1-0) on Saturday in Dayton; and followed that performance by making 23 saves on 24 shots in Sunday afternoon's 5-1 win over Trenton.
- Over the course of the season with Reading, Rudkowsky has compiled a record of 15-3-3 with a 2.39 goals against average (tied for fourth best in the league) and .919 save percentage.
v In Sunday's 5-1 win over Trenton, the Royals scored three power play goals on six chances with the man advantage, marking the fourth time this season that Reading has scored three power play goals in a single game.
- Sunday's game marked only the third time in the last sixteen games that the Royals have scored more than one power play goal in a single game. During the last sixteen games, the Royals power play has scored 12 power play goals in eighty-three chances a 14.5% scoring ratio.
- Over the course of the season, Reading has scored 58 power play goals in 259 chances with the man advantage, a 22.4% scoring ratio, which is ranked third in the league.
v In last Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Trenton Titans, the Royals killed off all 10 power plays awarded to the Titans, marking the first time this season that Reading had given up double digits in power play chances to the opponents and killed them all off.
- Over the last ten games, the Royals penalty killers have allowed nine power play goals against in 73 chances for the opponents, an 87.7% kill ratio.
- Over the course of the season, Reading has allowed 49 goals in 318 power play chances against, an 84.6% kill ratio, which ranks fifth in the league.
v Sunday's 5-1 win over Trenton marked the first time this season in six tries that Reading has won on Sunday this year.
