STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder has announced it has acquired the rights to defenseman Mike Knight from the Greenville Grrrowl in exchange for center Steve Slonina. Knight, who also carries a two-way agreement with the American Hockey League's Portland Pirates, has been re-assigned to Stockton by Portland.

Knight, 21, is in his second ECHL season, posting nine points (3g-6a) in 33 games with Greenville in 2005-06.
