SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 9, 2007) - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that they have recalled defenseman Alexandre Rouleau from their ECHL affiliate, the Phoenix RoadRunners.

Rouleau, who signed an AHL/ECHL two-way contract with San Antonio while attending the Rampage's training camp in September, makes his second stint with the Rampage after playing in one game with San Antonio on Dec. 15 (zero points).

The 23-year-old leads all RoadRunners' defensemen and is tied for eighth overall among ECHL blue-liners in scoring with five goals and 23 points through 31 games this season.

Rouleau has totaled two assists and 16 penalty minutes in 15 career AHL regular season games.

The Mont-Laurier, Quebec native was the Pittsburgh Penguins' fourth choice in the third round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
